Report an error
If you spot an incorrect date, missing information, a mistranslation or a broken source link in our articles, please let us know. It helps if you include:
- the article’s URL and language,
- the sentence you believe is incorrect,
- if possible, the correct information and a source supporting it.
Reported errors are checked against sources; if confirmed, the article is corrected. For details, see our Sourcing Policy page.
Report a forum post
If you see a forum post that you believe breaks the rules, you can send us a link to the post and a brief explanation. Reports are reviewed under the forum rules in our Terms of Use.
Collaboration
We welcome collaboration proposals from museums, universities, researchers, educators and content creators. Simply send us a message briefly describing your institution and your proposal.
Copyright and content removal requests
If you believe any content on the site infringes your rights, please write to us with the following information:
- the work or right you believe has been infringed,
- the URL of the content on our site,
- information showing that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on their behalf,
- contact details we can use to reach you.
We will review your request and correct or remove the content if we find the request justified. Since most of our images come from Wikimedia Commons, if you believe an image’s license or author information is incorrect, it would also be helpful to report this to Wikimedia Commons.
Requests under KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698)
To exercise your rights under KVKK, you can write to kokunekadartv@gmail.com. When submitting a request by email, you must use the email address you previously provided to us and that we have on record.
Other ways to submit a request and the information your request must include are set out in our KVKK Privacy Notice. Your request will be resolved within 30 days at the latest.
